Proceeding from the principle of developing the scientific, administrative and academic reality at University of Anbar as well as under the guidance of President of University of Anbar, Prof. Dr. Mushtak Talib Salih Al-Neda, and with his precedent which is a unique and forerunner at the level of the Iraqi ministry and universities, University of Anbar launched the second version of the university classification for the colleges of University of Anbar (internal classification) on 12/15 /2021 and by joint efforts of the departments of Quality Assurance and University Performance and the International Rankings Unit, the proposed internal classification depends on five main criteria, namely (educational environment, scientific research, websites, financial and material resources, e-learning environment), in turn, it contains 70 indicators that aim at these indicators. To assist the colleges in following up their effectiveness within already arranged plans that work to develop the scientific and academic output in line with the strategic plan of the university. This classification also helps the university in achieving the requirements of the approved and sober international classifications. The information provided and related to the preparation of students for an academic year preceding the date of launching the classification, also the information related to the instructors and financial resources for a calendar year preceding the launched classification, and in this version, the academic year 2019/2020 was approved for colleges that have (a legal document or a ministerial or administrative order exempting them from any indicator. Administrative) writings for the case when evaluating, for example, (the colleges of the medical group) are not allowed to introduce the evening study and in harmony with the initiative of the honorable President of the University, the colleges were evaluated based on scientific foundations prepared in a way that guarantees the principle of equality between colleges and as shown in the table below:
