After a two-year general medical internship in the Iraqi Ministry of Health, he was transferred to Anbar University and assigned as a teaching assistant at the College of Medicine Anbar University between 2002 and 2004. During that period, he was assigned the Medical Microbiology Laboratory in the college. </span></tt></span><span style="font-size:16px"><tt><span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif">In 2004 he joined the Iraqi association of Medical Specialties to finish his degree in the Pathology department, in 2009, he graduated with a Subspecialty in Clinical Microbiology and Immunity. </span></tt></span><span style="font-size:16px"><tt><span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif">Since 2010, Prof. Yasir Mufeed has served as a Specialist in Gynecology, Obstetrics & Children Hospital Anbar, he was also assigned as the Head of the Microbiology & Biotechnology Department. </span></tt></span><span style="font-size:16px"><tt><span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif">Besides his clinical duties, Prof. Yasir Mufeed has pursued an extensive academic career, including teaching </span></tt></span><span style="font-size:16px"><tt><span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif">undergraduate medical and pharmacy students and supervising postgraduate Master, and PhD candidates in diagnostic Microbiology & Immunology. In 2012, Prof. Yasir Mufeed was appointed as the Head of the Clinical Laboratory Department at Pharmacy College/ Anbar University. In 2019 he was assigned the head of the Clinical Pharmacy department. Today he is the head of the Microbiology department in the medical college.</span></tt></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px"><tt><span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif">Socially, Prof. Yasir Mufeed is married and has three daughters. His outdoor hobbies are Billiard and </span></tt></span><span style="font-size:16px"><tt><span style="font-family:Times New Roman,Times,serif">Cycling.
