Currently, he is a Full Professor in the Department of Dams & Water Resources Engineering, University of Anbar, Iraq. He has also worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Lulea University of Technology (Sweden). Dr. Sulaiman has published more than 40 refereed publications and collaborated as a subject editor/reviewer for different international scholarly journals.
